Kyle Davies, 24, has firmly established himself as one of Britain’s most exciting boxing prospects after a spectacular performance at Stoke’s iconic Kings Hall on Saturday night. In front of a roaring hometown crowd, the Stoke-born fighter captured both the IBO European Title and the Commonwealth Silver Title with a commanding fifth-round stoppage over the previously unbeaten Celtic champion Aaron Bird.

Davies’ journey began at 15 years old, when he travelled from Stoke to Northwich four times a week to train in the amateurs under respected coaches Joe Eccleston and Steve Bundy.
